In 2012, the current photography club was established as a product of the vision of the school's Liason Officer. The club has gone from strength to strength and is growing in learner numbers annually.

Most of our photographers' photos are posted on the school's social networks and used in newspaper articles. The photography club also takes part in the Culture Festival which are held every second year.

Our photographers can choose what events they can attend through what interests them, this choice is usually between sport and culture.

The club is for any learner of the school, whether it is just a hobby, a possible future career, or just for fun. We like to share knowledge and encourage each other to take better photos.

With each prize-giving ceremony that takes place in October / November, the Photographer of the Year award is presented to the learner who was the most involved with the Photography Club.
